Welcome to my Resume page! I’m Tyler, a dedicated and skilled video editor with experience in video editing, audio production, photography, and web design. Explore my work experience, education, skills, and accomplishments below.

Outside of my professional life, I have a deep passion for comedy podcasts and sports. I’m an avid listener of podcasts like YMH, 2 Bears 1 Cave, Are You Garbage and We Might Be Drunk, which never fail to keep me entertained and inspired. As a former state champion pole vaulter, I have a strong affinity for sports, particularly football, soccer, UFC, track, and golf. Although I enjoy watching a wide variety of sports, these are the ones that truly capture my heart. So dive in and get to know more about my professional journey and personal interests!

Work Experience

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work on various projects, including video editing for TexAgs, creating websites for family businesses, and producing audio content. Here’s a glimpse of my professional journey:

Family Business – Social Media Marketer & SEO Blog Writer

January 2023 – Present

Grew the company’s Facebook following from nothing to over 700 followers in two months.
Developed and implemented social media marketing strategies.
Created engaging content for social media platforms.
Wrote SEO-optimized blog posts to drive organic traffic.

SuperBam – Video Editor

January 2022 – December 2022

Created compilation videos for the Dr. Phil show for YouTube and Facebook, combining multiple episodes into one cohesive story.
Edited short-form clips from the Phil in The Blanks podcast with Dr. Phil for YouTube Shorts and Facebook.
Developed content creation strategies and planned future videos.
Produced videos with quick turnarounds on a daily basis.

Awesemo.com – Video Editor/Podcast Producer

July 2020 – January 2023

Collaborated with a 3-person team to produce over 100 podcast episodes a week.
Grew the Awesemo DFS YouTube Channel from 30,000 to 85,000 subscribers in 2.5 years.
Launched the Awesemo Fantasy Football Channel and OddShopper Channel
Oddshopper grew from 0 to 65,000 subs in less than a year
Created visual overlays, emojis, and other graphics for live-streamed shows.
Developed new show concepts and designs.
Improved file management and time efficiency across the design department by automating and cleaning up project files.
Designed YouTube thumbnails daily.
Used VMix for live podcast production and YouTube streaming.

TexAgs.com – Video Editor Intern

May 2019 – December 2019

Assisted in producing, editing, and distributing morning radio shows online and on-air.
Filmed and edited football practices and highlight videos for Texas A&M using Adobe Premiere.
Filmed, edited, and published press conferences for various Texas A&M sports.
Filmed stand-ups for weekly pre-game settings and photographed events using Nikon DSLRs and Sony FS5.
